i have been a multimedia journalist with the toronto sun since the summer of 2021. prior to that, i worked as a freelance writer and tv critic for more than a decade.

growing up, i moved around a lot around the gta. i loved to read and bake, play volleyball, softball and tennis, and the toronto blue jays and detroit pistons were my favourite teams to cheer on — until the raptors, obviously.

now that i’m older (note: older, not old), volleyball and softball still remain loves, while pickleball is the preferred racquet sport of choice. and while cooking now takes precedence (needs must), i’m forever a baker at heart.

as for writing, my career began at tv guide canada (rip) before going out on my own, contributing to huffington post, food network, hgtv, 24 hours toronto, and raptors, leafs and toronto fc magazines until i joined the toronto sun team where i write anything and everything. i’m also the woman behind the curtain of your midday sun newsletter. if you have yet to subscribe, what are you waiting for?
