there are many weeks that go by when lottery jackpots do not have winners.
this is not one of them.

big money

there were a total of 644,263 winners from wednesday night’s lotto 6/49 draw, with three notable wins in ontario, including two tickets sold in the greater toronto area.
the winning numbers were 12 – 30 – 31 – 35 – 41 – 48 – 4, with a bonus number of 21.
the gold ball winning number was 54033987-01.
the classic jackpot of $5 million — which is up for grabs in every draw — was won with a ticket sold in scarborough, the ontario lottery and gaming commission announced.
meanwhile, the $1-million gold ball jackpot belongs to someone who bought their ticket in greater sudbury.
and a second-prize winning ticket — five numbers and the bonus number out of six — worth a cool $257,439.90 was sold in milton.
there were also 63 winners of $1,715.90 for getting five out of six numbers on their tickets.
while there was no $1-million encore winner, there was one who scored $100,000 thanks to having the last six numbers, and one $10,000 winner who had the first six numbers on their ticket.

other recent winners in the province

a group of six family members and close friends across ontario shared $259,539 from their first big lottario win, despite playing consistently for the last three years.
meanwhile, an 80-year-old retiree from strathroy won his second big lotto max prize. last month, he took home $100,000 after saying “yes” to encore, six years after winning a $1-million encore prize.

what’s next?

the next lotto 6/49 jackpot is on saturday, featuring a gold ball jackpot of $44 million (or $1 million with a white ball) and another classic jackpot of $5 million.
tickets are sold until 10:30 p.m. et on draw nights.
