a popular hershey’s chocolate product has been recalled across canada.
hershey’s kisses — specifically, creamy milk chocolate — are being recalled due to possible presence of almonds not indicated on the packaging, the canadian food inspection agency (cfia) said in an advisory.
the voluntary recall was triggered by the company after it received one reported reaction linked with consumption of these products, the notice stated.

customers with allergies or sensitivities to tree nuts are advised to not consume the chocolate “as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction,” the agency said.
consumers are also advised to not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products.
recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased, according to cfia.
