no one was reported hurt monday night after a shooting in north preston.
police were called to the community just after 7:45 p.m. they said in a news release that witnesses reported shots being fired from a white suv near the intersection of cain and clarence streets.
the investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to call them or crime stoppers.
it’s the second shooting incident in north preston in less than a month. on june 20, rcmp were called about shots fired near amos walter and downey drives. police found shell casings on the road. there were no reports of injuries and no obvious property damage.
