a restaurant chain known for its many flavours of chicken wings was put on notice for several violations by toronto health inspectors.
wild wing, which can be found across canada and has 105 locations in ontario, was cited for infractions at three of its nine toronto locations: 675 king st. w., 1617 wilson ave., and 2819 kingston rd.
inspectors did give each location a conditional pass, so they all remain open.

public health’s food safety program.
three of the violations are considered “crucial,” and include “food premise maintained in manner permitting adverse effect on food.”
it also was notified about its “significant infractions” including failures to “remove wastes when necessary to maintain sanitary condition” and “clean multi-service articles after use.”
it had previously been given a conditional pass with one or more infractions last august, but passed inspection three days later.
the wilson ave. location, just west of jane st. across from sheridan mall, was inspected on jan. 5 and, was handed just two significant infractions: “fail to protect against breeding of pests” and “fail to maintain records of pest control measures taken.”
