it’s less than a week away but we wanted to send you early wishes on a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. but before we ring in 2025, there are still many things happening in and around the city if you’re looking for something fun to do.

light up the dark
immerse yourself in a dazzling celebration of light and artistry with mesmerizing animations ranging from digital to stop-motion, made by talented ocad students.
there will also be pop-up performances, exciting workshops, scrumptious bites and warm drinks to be enjoyed.
check out the radiant displays at the aga khan museum at 77 wynford dr. from friday to sunday at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

polar bear skate
gather your courageous, cold weather-loving friends, strip down to your skivvies and spin around the 220-metre figure-eight skate trail.
donations of warm winter clothing will also be collected by new circles community services and distributed to local individuals and families in need.
head to the bentway on saturday at 12 p.m.
