an ottawa man has been charged in connection with a fatal collision that killed a 29-year-old pedestrian in barrhaven in may.
the ottawa police service said the collision happened at about 7:19 p.m. on may 11 at fallowfield road and via park place, near the oc transpo fallowfield park & ride.
the woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died six days later, on may 17.
police said monday that a man in his 40s has been charged with careless driving causing death under the highway traffic act.
investigators said the collision involved a single vehicle and a pedestrian.
the ottawa police service said the investigation has now concluded.
