one person injured in surrey shooting

one person was injured in a shooting in surrey’s clayton neighbourhood saturday morning.
police were notified just after 8 a.m. of the incident near a residence in the area of 74 avenue and 184 street.
the victim was already travelling to hospital for treatment and the suspect or suspects had fled the area, according to the surrey police service.
police believe this was a targeted shooting but not extortion related.
anyone with information about this shooting, including security or dash-cam footage, or who may know the identities of the suspects is asked to contact the sps non-emergency line at 604-599-0502, or crime stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca.
