one victim, who was shot multiple times, died at the scene. his name has not yet been released.
the second victim was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound, reportedly to his arm, and he is expected to recover.
“the only information i have at this time is that it was two adults males,” trimble said of the victims, explaining investigators will need to locate and notify next-of-kin before the dead man’s name and age can be revealed.
a video posted thursday morning on x, claiming to be footage of the deadly shooting, shows two men clearing snow off of a vehicle in a driveway as another car pulls up on the street. two occupants exit the car – one from the backseat on the driver’s side and another from the passenger’s side – and open fire.

the driver remains in the vehicle.
one victim is seen running for his life up the driveway towards the house with what appears to be a snowbrush in his hand.
the second victim is seen trying unsuccessfully to take cover at the front of the vehicle. he was hit multiple times as he crouched behind the car’s front bumper and then collapsed on the snowy ground.
at least a dozen muzzle flashes can be seen from the killer’s gun, most of those shots fired as the shooter stands over the murder victim pulling the trigger repeatedly.
“we are aware of a video that is circulating online,” trimble confirmed, adding investigators are “looking for a white, four-door sedan with one or more suspects.”
no further suspect descriptions were immediately available.
“this is a multi-faceted investigation,” trimble said of the execution-style killing, adding investigators will be “looking at it from every angle.”
“clearly, the history of this residence and the occupants will be thoroughly looked at,” she said.
many area residents heard the gunfire erupt but didn’t se the shooting unfold.
“it’s scary because there are a lot of kids in this area,” said one woman, who didn’t want to be identified. “it’s upsetting.”
