a man was admitted to hospital in the rosemont–la petite-patrie borough with gunshot wounds on friday afternoon, montreal police report.around 1:30 p.m., montreal police received a call from a hospital that a person arrived at the emergency room with possible gunshot wounds, according to police spokesperson johany charland.police later found the victim, a 42-year-old man, had a lower body injury that appeared to be a gunshot wound. the man was conscious and breathing, and charland noted the injuries are not life-threatening.no crime scene has been identified and no arrests have been made.police were still clarifying the causes and circumstances of the incident as of 4:30 p.m. friday.they also plan to attempt locating witnesses and review available surveillance camera footage. the investigation is continuing.
