criticism hasn’t shaken confidence
on june 19, she proudly showcased her wembley wardrobe in
an instagram post, giving fans both on-stage and behind-the-scenes looks at the dolce & gabbana ensembles. the singer made it clear she loved every minute of the experience.
“i would like to indulge here for a moment and mention the @dolcegabbana looks you’re seeing me perform in each night at wembley,” she wrote.
“it’s not just the album i love, it’s not just seeing so many young and inspired faces each night at wembley. it’s being dressed by one of the greatest designers in the world night after night.”
embracing aging and learning to feel comfortable in her own skin
earlier this year, twain told
the independent that she has no problem wearing a bikini at age 60 and isn’t concerned about what others think.
“i have a 60-year-old body, but i will walk on the beach in my bikini. i don’t really care if (people) are okay with it or not,” she said.
the singer admitted reaching that level of confidence wasn’t always easy. she has previously discussed struggling with body image during menopause, revealing that physical changes left her feeling uncomfortable and frustrated.
shania twain’s newest album, little miss twain, is out now.

‘i hated my body’
speaking with
the sunday times, twain recalled reaching a point where she stopped looking in mirrors before performances because she disliked what she saw.
“i hated my body,” she said. “oh, i can’t stand this changing body.”
she later threw herself into intense exercises and strict dieting. eventually, however, an injury forced her to rethink that approach and develop a healthier relationship with her body.
the renewed confidence comes as twain releases her latest album,
little miss twain. the record, out now, sees the singer
revisiting her roots and early musical influences while blending her trademark country-pop sound with touches of rock and soul.
