sean ‘diddy’ combs is not getting along inside the walls of his current steel-barred home.
the one-time rap star was thrown into solitary confinement after a fight with a fellow inmate this week.
once one of the most powerful figures in music and entertainment, combs was accused of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. the founder of bad boy records was found guilty in july of last year on two counts of transportation for prostitution. he was then sentenced in october.

rapper ‘held his own’

he is currently serving a 50-month sentence at fci fort dix in n.j., following a federal conviction on prostitution-related charges.
the 56-year-old got into a heated altercation after he was disrespected by another inmate, tmz reported. the online website also said that combs “held his own” during the brawl, which was quickly squashed by prison guards.
a spokesperson for the federal bureau of prisons said the agency does not comment on the “conditions of confinement, disciplinary matters, or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety, and security concerns.”
combs was placed in solitary confinement after the altercation. what is not known is whether this dust-up will affect his impending release from prison as he is expected to see daylight again in february 2028.

what to know about his prison

fort dix is in a minimum security federal prison. low-risk detainees and nonviolent offenders are sentenced to minimum security prisons because there are minimal fences or perimeter guards.
according to the prison’s website, fort dix currently has 4,174 total male inmates, split between the main low-security facility (3,923) and 251 housed at an adjacent minimum-security satellite camp. the prison is divided into east and west compounds resembling a large campus with multi-story brick housing units.
