celebrity blogger perez hilton has been hospitalized after after he appeared to self-harm on a live tiktok stream from his florida home.
graphic video clips shared on social media after the livestream ended show hilton naked and covered in blood.
a spokesperson for the miami-dade county sheriff’s office said deputies reported to hilton’s home after receiving a number of calls from concerned viewers who watched the livestream. cops said hilton was alone inside the home at the time of the livestream.

‘mental health crisis’

“in many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication,” the mdcso spokesperson said in a statement to people.
“unless there is an immediate threat to others, slowing the situation and utilizing crisis intervention techniques can reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimize the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public.”
deputies, with aid from miami-dade fire rescue, “safely recovered” hilton and transported him to a hospital for medical evaluation, nbc news reported. mdcso’s crisis response unit and mental health professionals were also on the scene to help family members.
the graphic livestream appeared to show hilton holding a knife with visible cuts while covered in blood. viewers reportedly pleaded with hilton and asked for his phone number so they could call authorities.
golden artists entertainment, the talent management company that represents hilton, told nbc news late tuesday that they were “aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client, perez hilton.”
